Mulholland Dr. (2001) - The Australian Connection

I’m always pleasantly surprised at how many Australians feature in David Lynch’s 2001 masterpiece. Supposedly, the director cast actors who had come from TV soapie backgrounds. Naomi Watts, Melissa George, and Elizabeth Lackey had all done stints on ‘Home & Away’ at the time of filming. Marcus Graham, also one from an Australian television background, later came to appear on that soap in 2011-12.
